AMDEA was invited to a stakeholder meeting with the Government Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and other Government Departments to discuss proposals for a UK “cybersecurity label”.

This is likely to be overtaken by the development of an international standard that is expected to set a minimum level of security for all connected equipment.

DCMS also came to AMDEA to discuss their draft Code of Practice for Security in Consumer IoT Products and Associated Services with some of our members.
