Industry Training

The HEEST (Household Electrical and Electronic Equipment Servicing Training) Forum was set up in 2010 as a successor to an earlier body that designed qualifications and apprenticeship frameworks for service engineers working on appliances. The Forum is currently funded by AMDEA and two other trade associations, techUK and retra.

The Forum works to create qualifications and training opportunities for those seeking a career in the installation and repair of electrical and electronic products in both domestic and commercial properties.
