AMDEA has been notified of a new roadmap for an EU law to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. This is in pursuit of the goal set out in the European Green Deal for Europe’s economy and society to become climate-neutral by 2050.

In order to achieve zero emissions for the EU as a whole, all Member States will need to reduce their emissions, invest in green technologies and protect the natural environment.

The new Act will ensure that all EU policies contribute to this goal and that all sectors of the economy and society play a role in its achievement.
