The annulment of the Energy Labelling Regulation for vacuum cleaners continues to occupy minds as it is not clear how long it will take to remove all the existing labels and any references to them in promotional materials.

We were hoping that the Commission would issue some helpful guidance on how relaxed Market Surveillance Authorities should be about this, but to date they have not done so.

Work has already started on the next generation of energy labels so the quest for repeatable and reproducible measurement methods continues.
