In 2016 AMDEA was the first ever winner of the British Standards Institution’s (BSI) new Industry Leadership Award. Our technical team are members of multiple BSI groups via which they participate in European standards bodies and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). We work on standards that underpin legislation in the areas of safety, performance, EMC and environmental impact. We also encourage our members to allow their own staff to participate in standardisation work.
The Future of Engineering conferences are designed to introduce standards to engineering professionals, and to encourage them to get involved in standardisation work. AMDEA is proud to be one of this year’s sponsors of an event that directly supports the IEC’s Young Professionals Programme.
