The European Commission review of the Energy Labelling Directive and specific aspects of the Ecodesign Directive continues.
Their consultant is keen to understand how stakeholders are consulted as part of their evaluation and are encouraging people to respond to their on-line survey.
Various organisations as well as Member States were invited to submit papers and the deadline for Member State submissions is 30 November 2013. Early next year the Commission will be consulting on three possible layouts for a revised energy label and there will be a third stakeholder meeting. The Ecodesign Consultation Forum is due to take place in the second half of 2014.
There is a dedicated website where anyone can sign up for notifications and/or complete the questionnaire.
